Victoria Elegance Store
a fluted concrete counter and a broken tile mosaic floor
Interior design for an 82 square-meter clothing store in Teotihuacan, Mexico. The project consists of a series of movable racks, shelves, and cabinets that occupy the narrow interior of the store and a wall-to-wall mirror at one of the ends of the shop that virtually doubles its longitudinal dimension.
The counter was cast-in-place with pigmented concrete and a fluted formwork. The floor mosaic uses reclaimed pieces of broken bathroom tiles.
